The climate of the Lake Michigan Shore American Viticulture Area is ideal for growing high-quality grapes, being similar to the Bordeaux and Burgundy regions in France. The protective effect of Lake Michigan and sandy-loam soils make this area home to some of the best grapes in the country. Our tasting room is ideally situated a daytrip away from Chicago, Grand Rapids, and Detroit. Come visit our Steampunk-styled tasting room, peruse our world-class collection of art, and enjoy a glass or two of our selection of fine wines and specialty drinks while relaxing on our patio overlooking scenic Lemon Creek.  When you visit Golden Muse Winery, you’ll be swept back to turn-of-the-century Paris, where you can mingle with the artists, poets and performers whose legacy lives on today.

Golden Muse Winery is one of Michigan’s only women-owned wineries. We're situated in the heart of Lake Michigan Shore AVA, where the "lake effect" fosters ideal growing conditions for many varieties of wine grapes. We offer a curated selection of vegan-friendly wines and vegetarian small bites such as our popular fruit and cheese boards.

Golden Muse Winery celebrates the free-spirited lifestyle of the Golden Age of Paris – when people like La Goulue, queen of the can-can, took to the stage with her ruffled skirts, or Alfred Jarry, the playwright, rode his bicycle around the streets of Paris with his face painted green.  More than a hundred years later, these eccentricities are alive and well at Golden Muse Winery where we fuse delicious wine and inspiring art to offer a unique experience.
